The NAPP® Mentorship Program remains in the planning stages
Conceptually, the NAPP® Mentorship Program will be a program that teams inexperienced patent practitioners (having less than 2 years) with experienced patent practitioners (having 5 years or more of experience). The program
will be workbook-based allowing the mentee to work at his/her own pace. The exercises in the workbook
will bedirected towards each aspect of patent prosecution practice. Each exercise
will be graded by the mentor who then reviews the exercise with the mentee. The workbook
will be a hands-on approach allowing the mentee to compile a forms-type book that can be used when practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Authors for the mentorship workbook are sought. If you are
interested in working on this project, please
